Análise da evolução histórica e conceitual dos objetivos do desenvolvimento sustentável: rumo a um futuro equilibrado

Abstract

O trabalho teve como principal objetivo analisar criticamente os conceito e evolução dos ODS, visando compreender sua importância para o desenvolvimento sustentável global. A abordagem metodológica empregada baseou-se na análise crítica de uma extensa gama de fontes bibliográficas, incluindo livros, artigos acadêmicos, relatórios governamentais e documentos de organizações internacionais. Ao longo da pesquisa, foram investigadas a origem e a evolução conceitual dos ODS, destacando o contexto histórico que levou à sua formulação, bem como suas metas específicas. A análise revelou a relevância dos ODS como um guia fundamental para a promoção da sustentabilidade global, especialmente após a implementação da Agenda 2030. As descobertas demonstraram que os ODS desempenham um papel essencial na orientação de ações sustentáveis dentro de empresas e organizações. Além disso, ficou evidente que a compreensão profunda dos ODS pode beneficiar diversos setores da sociedade, desde indivíduos leigos até governos, organizações não governamentais e o setor privado. Essa compreensão proporciona diretrizes claras para a implementação de práticas sustentáveis em diferentes níveis. No âmbito pessoal e profissional, este estudo contribuiu significativamente para o meu crescimento, proporcionando uma compreensão mais profunda dos desafios e das oportunidades associadas ao desenvolvimento sustentável. A análise dos ODS destacou a importância crescente desses objetivos na busca por um futuro equilibrado, crucial para enfrentar os desafios ambientais, sociais e econômicos do século XXI. Portanto, a pesquisa conclui que os ODS representam um marco fundamental para promover práticas sustentáveis e que sua compreensão abrangente é essencial para orientar ações em direção a um desenvolvimento sustentável global.

ABSTRACT: The main objective of the work was to critically analyze the concept and evolution of the SDGs, aiming to understand their importance for global sustainable development. The methodological approach employed was based on the critical analysis of an extensive range of bibliographical sources, including books, academic articles, government reports and documents from international organizations. Throughout the research, the origin and conceptual evolution of the SDGs were investigated, highlighting the historical context that led to their formulation, as well as their specific goals. The analysis revealed the relevance of the SDGs as a fundamental guide for promoting global sustainability, especially after the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. The findings demonstrated that the SDGs play an essential role in guiding sustainable actions within companies and organizations. Furthermore, it became clear that a deep understanding of the SDGs can benefit various sectors of society, from lay individuals to governments, non-governmental organizations and the private sector. This understanding provides clear guidelines for implementing sustainable practices at different levels. On a personal and professional level, this study contributed significantly to my growth, providing a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with sustainable development. The analysis of the SDGs highlighted the growing importance of these objectives in the search for a balanced future, crucial to face the environmental, social and economic challenges of the 21st century. Therefore, the research concludes that the SDGs represent a fundamental framework for promoting sustainable practices and that their comprehensive understanding is essential to guide actions towards global sustainable development.
