This study aims at the analysis and development of materials using as raw material, specifically the return of 17-4PH stainless steel, which is originated in the process of casting and casting molds, the research seeks an economic viability increasing the rate of return used, because at first the Fundimazza company used only 50% return to make new parts, and it was not possible to use a higher rate, as there was direct interference in the structure of the material due to the high rate of oxidation found in the return. The return is created in the inlet and outlet channels and mold risers, these molds are directly responsible for shaping the desired parts and for this reason it is generated in abundance. For the development of this work, it was considered a recurring problem in the company Fundimazza - Fundição de Preciso, where there was a great production of return and, consequently, accumulation of the same in stock, generating an increase in the cost of storage and, in a certain way, increasing the value of the final product. Therefore, reuse also becomes an important situation when thinking about issues such as internal storage and loss of raw material. In the study developed below, tests will be carried out to evaluate the material in order to use the maximum possible return for the production of new parts, reducing the stock rate.
