O estresse ocupacional e a síndrome de burnout entre técnicos de enfermagem da clínica médica.

Abstract

A competitividade e o estresse da vida moderna contribuem para o desgaste físico e emocional dos trabalhadores, podendo favorecer o desenvolvimento da Síndrome de Burnout quando não identificados e tratados adequadamente. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar a relação entre o Estresse Ocupacional e a Síndrome de Burnout em técnicos de enfermagem na clínica médica, identificando os principais fatores desencadeantes, consequências e formas de prevenção. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa, realizada por meio de revisão de literatura e pesquisa de campo, utilizando artigos científicos disponíveis no SciELO, Google Acadêmico e LILACS. Resultados: Os dados obtidos nos gráficos demonstraram que a maioria dos participantes relataram nível de estresse com frequência, apresentando sintomas como ansiedade, insônia, irritabilidade e cansaço físico e mental. Também foram identificados fatores relacionados ao ambiente de trabalho, como sobrecarga, déficit de profissionais e pressão assistencial, que contribuem para o desenvolvimento do Estresse Ocupacional e da Síndrome de Burnout. Conclusão: Conclui-se que o Estresse Ocupacional e a Síndrome de Burnout estão presentes na rotina dos técnicos de enfermagem na clínica médica e representam um importante problema de saúde ocupacional, evidenciando a necessidade de estratégias institucionais voltadas à promoção da saúde mental, prevenção do adoecimento e melhoria das condições de trabalho.

Competitiveness and the stress of modern life contribute to the physical and emotional exhaustion of workers, which may favor the development of Burnout Syndrome when not properly identified and treated. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between Occupational Stress and Burnout Syndrome among nursing technicians in a medical clinic, identifying the main triggering factors, consequences, and prevention strategies.Methodology:This is a qualitative and quantitative study conducted through a literature review and field research, using scientific articles available in SciELO, Google Scholar, and LILACS databases. Results: The data obtained from the graphs showed that most participants frequently reported stress levels, presenting symptoms such as anxiety, insomnia, irritability, and physical and mental fatigue. Factors related to the work environment were also identified, including workload overload, staff shortages, and care-related pressure, which contributed to the development of Occupational Stress and Burnout Syndrome. Conclusion: It is concluded that Occupational Stress and Burnout Syndrome are present in the daily routine of nursing technicians working in medical clinics and represent an important occupational health issue. This highlights the need for institutional strategies aimed at promoting mental health, preventing illness, and improving working conditions.
