Ferramentas da qualidade aplicado a logistica: just in time - kanban - milk run

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar de forma dinâmica e clara a metodologia Just in Time, sua história e seus benefícios, bem como algumas das ferramentas utilizadas pelas empresas para alcançar os objetivos propostos por esse sistema de administração, que atualmente se tornou um requisito fundamental para organizações que desejam obter sucesso e se manter competitivas no mercado. Ao longo do desenvolvimento, destaca-se que o Just in Time, também conhecido pela sigla JIT, quando implementado corretamente, proporciona vantagens como redução de custos por meio da otimização de processos, eliminação de desperdícios e diminuição dos estoques. Por se tratar de um método baseado em operações enxutas, o sistema está diretamente relacionado à eliminação de atividades que não agregam valor e ao foco na melhoria contínua, buscando atender o cliente com qualidade, no momento certo, no local correto e na quantidade adequada. This paper aims to present the Just in Time methodology in a dynamic and clear way, including its history and benefits, as well as some of the tools used by companies to achieve the objectives proposed by this management system, which has become an essential requirement for organizations seeking success and competitiveness in the market. Throughout the study, it is highlighted that Just in Time, also known as JIT, when properly implemented, provides advantages such as cost reduction through process optimization, waste elimination, and inventory reduction. Since it is a lean operations method, the system is directly associated with eliminating activities that do not add value and maintaining a focus on continuous improvement, aiming to serve customers with quality, at the right time, in the right place, and in the right quantity.
