Nesse contexto, as campanhas
dessas campanhas ainda reproduzem estereótipos, especialmente relacionados a
impactos no desenvolvimento infantil.
Child-targeted advertising plays a significant role in shaping children's values, behaviors, and perceptions, as it directly influences the process of constructing their social identity. In this context, advertising campaigns aimed at children not only promote products but also disseminate cultural, social, and aesthetic standards. However, it is observed that many of these campaigns still reproduce stereotypes, especially those related to gender, physical appearance, social roles, and lifestyles. These stereoty pes can limit how children perceive themselves and others, reinforcing rigid and often exclusionary social patterns. Therefore, it is essential to critically analyze the content of these campaigns and their potential impacts on child development. In light of this, this study proposes to critically examine child-targeted advertising and its impacts on children's development, highlighting the importance of more ethical and inclusive practices that value diversity and contribute to a more conscious social formation. |
