2025. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Curso Técnico em Edificações) - Etec Itaquera II, São Paulo, 2025
This study proposes the manufacture of roof tiles produced from Tetra Pak packaging, an alternative that transforms waste, packaging, into raw material, differing from conventional tiles such as ceramic, fiber cement, and metal, which involve high energy consumption and carbon emissions. However, Tetra Pak roof tiles often have a simple and unattractive appearance, making them difficult to accept in the market. The methodology adopted for this project draws on experiences from the possibilities in manufacturing tests for this type of tile, applying finishing and design techniques to improve its aesthetics and expand its use in civil construction in a way that does not compromise its functionality and enhances its aesthetics. In short, this Works promotes visually modifying these tiles, making them more attractive and low-cost for low-income housing, without compromising their strength and functionality.
