Happy Idosos

Abstract

O projeto Happy Idosos teve início em 2023, no Curso de Recursos Humanos, dentro da disciplina de Projeto Integrador, com o propósito de promover o bem-estar e a inclusão social da população idosa por meio do fortalecimento de vínculos afetivos e da valorização de suas trajetórias de vida. Em sua fase inicial, foram realizadas intervenções em um asilo, com atividades que proporcionaram momentos de alegria, escuta e interação entre os idosos e os voluntários. Já em 2024, o projeto avançou para uma abordagem voltada à autonomia e ao protagonismo do idoso, por meio de oficinas de capacitação em pintura, patchwork e crochê, realizadas no Centro de Referência do Idoso, incentivando os a explorar seu potencial como microempreendedores. Em 2025, visando uma melhor estruturação e expansão do projeto, foi estabelecida uma parceria com o Curso de Informática para Internet, desta vez com ambos os cursos atuando na disciplina de Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso. Essa colaboração teve um papel fundamental na concepção e no desenvolvimento da plataforma digital Happy Idosos, oferecendo grande suporte nas bases tecnológicas e na estruturação funcional da ferramenta. Na fase atual, o projeto evolui para o ambiente digital, com o desenvolvimento da referida plataforma, que conecta voluntários a instituições que atendem idosos, como casas de repouso e centros de atividades. A proposta visa facilitar o acesso ao voluntariado, criando um ambiente colaborativo onde pessoas interessadas possam contribuir com seu tempo e habilidades, promovendo a convivência intergeracional e fortalecendo o papel do idoso na sociedade. O Happy Idosos tem como objetivos principais reconhecer e valorizar o papel dos idosos e dos voluntários, promovendo o bem-estar, a autonomia e a troca de experiências entre as gerações, além de proporcionar visibilidade e participação ativa do idoso em ações sociais transformadoras. A iniciativa se consolida como um canal de apoio emocional e social, incentivando a empatia, a inclusão e o respeito às diferentes fases da vida.

The Happy Seniors project began in 2023, in the Human Resources Course, within the Integrative Project discipline, with the purpose of promoting the well-being and social inclusion of the elderly population through the strengthening of affective bonds and the appreciation of their life trajectories. In its initial phase, interventions were carried out in a nursing home, with activities that provided moments of joy, listening and interaction between the elderly and the volunteers. In 2024, the project advanced to an approach focused on the autonomy and protagonism of the elderly, through training workshops in painting, patchwork and crochet, held at the Reference Center for the Elderly, encouraging them to explore their potential as microentrepreneurs. In 2025, aiming at a better structuring and expansion of the project, a partnership was established with the Computer Science for the Internet Course, this time with both courses working in the discipline of Course Completion Work. This collaboration played a key role in the design and development of the Happy Elderly digital platform, offering great support in the technological bases and functional structuring of the tool. In the current phase, the project evolves to the digital environment, with the development of the aforementioned platform, which connects volunteers to institutions that serve the elderly, such as nursing homes and activity centers. The proposal aims to facilitate access to volunteering, creating a collaborative environment where interested people can contribute with their time and skills, promoting intergenerational coexistence and strengthening the role of the elderly in society. The main objectives of Happy Seniors are to recognize and value the role of the elderly and volunteers, promoting well-being, autonomy and the exchange of experiences between generations, in addition to providing visibility and active participation of the elderly in transformative social actions. The initiative consolidates itself as a channel of emotional and social support, encouraging empathy, inclusion and respect for different stages of life.
