Fórmulas lácteas infantis

Abstract

Na metade da Segunda Guerra Mundial, deu-se origem a fabricação de fórmulas infantis por necessidade de suprir melhor os lactantes que recebiam leite de outros animais, comidas pobres em nutrientes e contaminadas e, aos lactantes os quais não recebem o amamentamento materno por diversos fatores. O objetivo proposto foi, após realizar a pesquisa sobre custo e rendimento dos diferentes tipos de fórmulas como as de fase 1 e 2 e fórmulas de diversas patologias, elaborar um manual ilustrativo classificando-as com o melhor custo-benefcio, para instruir responsáveis por lactantes e profissionais da área da saúde de modo prático e acessível.

In the middle of World War II, the manufacture of infant formulas arose from the need to better supply infants who were receiving milk from other animals, nutrient-poor and contaminated food, and infants who were not receiving breast milk for various reasons. The proposed objective was, after conducting research on the cost and yield of different types of formulas, such as stage 1 and 2 formulas and formulas for various pathologies, to develop an illustrated manual classifying them according to their best cost-benefit ratio, to instruct caregivers and healthcare professionals in a practical and accessible way.
