Determinação de tensoativos aniônicos em detergentes comerciais

Abstract

RESUMO Este trabalho tem como objetivo quantificar o teor de tensoativos aniônicos em detergentes sintéticos comerciais, os quais desempenham um papel crucial na limpeza devido à sua capacidade de interagir tanto com a água quanto com as partículas de sujeira. A pesquisa aborda as características estruturais desses compostos e explica como elas influenciam diretamente sua atuação na remoção de impurezas, além de explorar seus aspectos químicos e contextualizar sua aplicação prática no cotidiano. Também são abordadas as regulamentações vigentes no Brasil, que orientam a fabricação e comercialização desses produtos, assegurando que atendam aos padrões de qualidade e segurança ambiental. Utilizando a técnica de titulação complexométrica, o trabalho verifica quantitativamente a conformidade das concentrações de tensoativos com as especificações dos fabricantes, a precisão da técnica utilizada e a eficiência do método, além de mostrar a importância das práticas de controle de qualidade na indústria química. ABSTRACT This study aims to quantify the content of anionic surfactants in commercial synthetic detergents, which play a crucial role in cleaning due to their ability to interact with both water and dirt particles. The research addresses the structural characteristics of these compounds and explains how they directly influence their performance in removing impurities, in addition to exploring their chemical aspects and contextualizing their practical application in everyday life. The current regulations in Brazil that guide the manufacture and marketing of these products are also addressed, ensuring that they meet quality and environmental safety standards. Using the complexometric titration technique, the study quantitatively verifies the compliance of surfactant concentrations with the manufacturers' specifications, the precision of the technique used and the efficiency of the method, in addition to showing the importance of quality control practices in the chemical industry.
