The use of natural pigments and dyes by men and women is a very old manifestation, since the beginning of history, men use pigments to dye hair, paint bodies, paint on walls. The objective of this work is to extract the pigment from red cabbage (Brassica Oleracea), beetroot (Beta Vugaris L.) and annatto (Bixa Orellana) for application in the formulation of a blush. Through the column chromatography technique it was possible to extract the pigments from the cabbage and the beetroot, in which the beetroot pigment was adsorbed by the Resin Lewatit S6863 sulfate due to its great molecular interaction. The cabbage pigment, as it does not have a strong molecular interaction through the column, passed freely through the resin particles and the extraction of the annatto pigment took place using an alkaline solvent. At the end of the extraction, analyzes were carried out to determine the sugars present in the extracts. The inferential analysis of the data showed that the Resin Lewatit S6863 sulfate has great effectiveness in removing sugars and after the lyophilization of the extracts it was possible to add this pigment to the blush formulation, giving the product a pleasant color.
