Abstract

O presente trabalho propõe uma análise aprofundada sobre a importância estratégica do técnico de segurança do trabalho, abordando suas funções, impactos e desafios em ambientes laborais contemporâneos. Diante da complexidade das normas regulatórias e da crescente conscientização sobre a segurança ocupacional, o profissional de segurança desempenha um papel crucial na preservação da integridade física e na promoção da saúde dos trabalhadores. O objetivo geral deste estudo é investigar a relevância do técnico de segurança no contexto do ambiente de trabalho, destacando sua contribuição na prevenção de acidentes e doenças ocupacionais, na promoção de ambientes seguros e no cumprimento das normas regulatórias. Para atingir esse objetivo, a pesquisa foi conduzida por meio de uma revisão bibliográfica abrangente, explorando fontes que discutem as funções, responsabilidades e impactos desse profissional. A metodologia de pesquisa bibliográfica foi adotada para consolidar conhecimentos teóricos e práticos já existentes sobre o tema. O estudo delineia objetivos específicos, incluindo a investigação das funções do técnico de segurança, a análise do impacto de suas ações na redução de acidentes e promoção da segurança no ambiente de trabalho, e a avaliação dos desafios e tendências que influenciam essa profissão. Ao final, espera-se que este trabalho forneça uma visão abrangente e embasada sobre a importância estratégica do técnico de segurança no contexto laboral, ressaltando a necessidade de reconhecimento e valorização dessa profissão no cenário atual. ABSTRACT This work proposes an in-depth analysis of the strategic importance of occupational safety technicians, addressing their functions, impacts and challenges in contemporary work environments. Given the complexity of regulatory standards and the growing awareness of occupational safety, the safety professional plays a crucial role in preserving the physical integrity and promoting the health of workers. The general objective of this study is to investigate the relevance of safety technicians in the context of the work environment, highlighting their contribution to preventing accidents and occupational illnesses, promoting safe environments and complying with regulatory standards. To achieve this objective, the research was conducted through a comprehensive literature review, exploring sources that discuss the roles, responsibilities and impacts of this professional. The bibliographic research methodology was adopted to consolidate existing theoretical and practical knowledge on the topic. The study outlines specific objectives, including investigating the functions of the safety technician, analyzing the impact of their actions on reducing accidents and promoting safety in the workplace, and evaluating the challenges and trends that influence this profession. In the end, it is expected that this work will provide a comprehensive and grounded view of the strategic importance of the security technician in the work context, highlighting the need for recognition and appreciation of this profession in the current scenario.
