Abstract

Sendo o aleitamento materno um processo natural de vínculo entre a mãe e o recém-nascido, o presente estudo foi desenvolvido para evidenciar o quão importante o processo de amamentação se faz presente, pois garante além da afetividade entre ambos, a nutrição e prevenção de doenças, pois é através do leite materno que os anticorpos produzidos pela puérpera serão indispensáveis ao recém-nascido, além de proporcionar bem-estar, satisfação, menor custo e praticidade. A aplicação da técnica de pega correta também é fundamental a esse processo, o que significa que a orientação por profissionais capacitados na área da saúde seja essencial, oferecendo toda assistência multidisciplinar que a mãe precisa; também é relevante para o sucesso do aleitamento que a mãe mantenha uma alimentação saudável. A partir desses fatores a diminuição da morbimortalidade infantil estará assegurada. Em alguns casos ainda há a necessidade de intervenção no processo de relactação e translactação como suplemento nutricional ao bebê. Portanto, evidenciou com esse artigo que a amamentação é um método eficaz para fornecer as necessidades nutricionais do lactante e estabelecer o fortalecimento e afetividade entre mãe e filho em seus aspectos sociais e culturais e que os profissionais da saúde principalmente da Enfermagem são agentes de extrema importância para que esse vínculo aconteça.

Since breastfeeding is a natural process of bonding between the mother and the newborn, the present study was developed to highlight how important the breastfeeding process is, as it ensures, in addition to the affection between both, nutrition and disease prevention. , because it is through breast milk that the antibodies produced by the puerperal woman will be indispensable to the newborn, in addition to providing well-being, satisfaction, lower cost and practicality. The application of the correct latching technique is also fundamental to this process, which means that guidance by professionals trained in the health area is essential, offering all the multidisciplinary assistance that the mother needs; it is also relevant for the success of breastfeeding that the mother maintains a healthy diet. From these factors, the reduction of infant morbidity and mortality will be assured. In some cases, there is still a need for intervention in the relactation and translactation process as a nutritional supplement for the baby. Therefore, this article evidenced that breastfeeding is an effective method to provide the nutritional needs of the infant and establish the strengthening and affection between mother and child in their social and cultural aspects, and that health professionals, mainly in Nursing, are agents of extreme importance. for that link to take place.
