Estudo comparativo do transporte de passageiros nas travessias São Sebastião-Ilhabela (SP) e Rio de Janeiro-Niterói (RJ)

Abstract

Esse estudo tem como tema o transporte de passageiros na travessia de balsas entre São Sebastião (SP) e Ilhabela (SP), sendo o objetivo do mesmo, descrever a dinâmica desse transporte atualmente, suas regras, situação das embarcações, funcionários, logística, e principalmente problemas encontrados. Após esse relato, realizado por meio de observações, entrevistas e consultas a documentos, o trabalho pretende apresentar algumas propostas e soluções aos problemas encontrados, por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica, realizadas em livros, artigos, reportagens, analisando outro modelo onde ocorre travessia semelhante, mas com experiências diversas em relação aos tipos de embarcações, contratos, formas de trabalho, ou seja, em toda a dinâmica de trabalho que envolve o transporte de passageiros numa travessia marítima. Para o estudo comparativo foi escolhido o exemplo da travessia entre Rio de Janeiro e Niterói (RJ). A relevância do trabalho está na necessidade de apresentação de propostas que possam minimizar e/ou resolver os problemas da citada travessia, que estão sendo tema de debates intensos na região, pelas muitas dificuldades encontradas diariamente por todos que dependem das balsas para se locomoverem. Percebe-se que existem soluções muito assertivas para todos os problemas encontrados na travessia de balsas entre São Sebastião e Ilhabela, em outros municípios brasileiros, que podem ser adotadas e adaptadas para o Litoral Norte de São Paulo, sendo que nesse trabalho citaremos o exemplo de Rio de Janeiro-Niterói. Assim sendo, por meio de uma abordagem descritiva, pesquisa bibliográfica e fontes documentais, como vídeos, fotos e relatórios, foi possível analisar algumas experiências de transporte de passageiros, que poderão ser utilizadas na reestruturação necessária, frente todos os problemas atuais encontrados na travessia de balsas entre São Sebastião e Ilhabela. The aim of this study is to describe the dynamics the passengers transport in the ferry cross between São Sebastião (SP) and Ilhabela (SP) by demonstrating the dynamics of this transport nowadays as well as its rules and the situation of the vessels, employees, logistics and mainly the problems found. After this was donethrough observations, interviews and documents researches, the study intends to present some proposals and solutions to the problems found, through bibliographical research, carried out in books, articles, reports, analyzing another model where similar crossing occurs, but with different experiences in relation to the types of vessels, contracts, for work styles which mean in all the dynamics of work involving the transport of passengers on the sea crossing. For the comparative study it was chosen the example of the crossing between Rio de Janeiro and Niterói (RJ). The relevance of the is paper is the need to present proposals that can minimize and / or solve the problems of this crossing, which are being the subject of intense debates in the region, due to the several difficulties found daily by all who depend on the ferries to get around. It is noticed that there are a lot of assertive solutions for all the problems found in the ferry crossing between São Sebastião and Ilhabela, in other Brazilian towns which can be adopted and adapted in the North Coast of São Paulo, and in this study. We will mention the example of Rio de Janeiro-Niterói. Therefore, through a descriptive approach, bibliographical research and documentary sources such as videos, photos and reports, it was possible to analyze some experiences of passenger transportation, which could be used in the necessary restructuring, facing all the current problems met in crossing of ferries between São Sebastião and Ilhabela.
