Logística reversa de pneus inservíveis na região metropolitana de Campinas (RMC)

Abstract

Com o crescimento da produção dos mais variados setores, muito se preocupa com o impacto gerado ao meio ambiente, devido ao aumento do consumo e descarte de resíduos sólidos. Deste modo, a logística reversa se torna necessária por possibilitar uma nova aplicação ou sobrevida ao produto, que ao invés de ser descartado ao final do seu uso, após alguns processos, retorna para o mercado, diminuindo o impacto no meio ambiente e gerando vantagem competitiva. O objetivo geral deste artigo é levantar dados e apurar como está a logística reversa de pós consumo de pneus na Região Metropolitana de Campinas (RMC), salientando o quão importante é o descarte de forma correta para que não haja malefícios ao meio ambiente. A metodologia baseia-se em livros, artigos e sites acadêmicos, sendo estes fundamentais para o desenvolvimento do estudo. Os resultados indicam que apesar da existência das leis, também há a necessidade de uma conscientização maior da população como um todo para que busque informações sobre onde deve-se descartar os pneus inservíveis de forma correta. Concluiu-se que todos que tenham participação durante toda a cadeia, desde o ponto de origem até o consumidor, final têm responsabilidade no descarte correto dos pneus, ou seja, a responsabilidade não é apenas dos fabricantes ou importadores, mas sim da sociedade como um todo.

With the growth of production in the most varied sectors, much is concerned about the impact generated to the environment, due to the increase in consumption and disposal of solid waste. Thus, reverse logistics becomes necessary because it enables a new application or survival of the product, which instead of being discarded at the end of its use, after some processes, it returns to the market, reducing the impact on the environment and generating competitive advantage. The general objective of this article is to survey and determine how the reverse logistics of post-consumption of tires in the Metropolitan Region of Campinas (MRC) is, emphasizing how important it is to dispose of correctly so that there is no harm to the environment. The methodology is based on books, articles, and academic sites, which are fundamental to the development of the study. The results indicate that despite the existence of the laws, there is also a need for greater awareness of the whole population to seek information on where to dispose of unserviceable tires correctly. It was concluded that everyone who has participated throughout the chain, from the point of origin to the consumer, has final responsibility for the correct disposal of tires, that is, the responsibility is not only of the manufacturers or importers but of the whole society.
