Fatores operacionais que dificultam a eficiência na entrega de encomendas no last mile: uma abordagem bibliográfica

Abstract

O crescimento progressivo da população urbana nas últimas décadas provocou o aumento da demanda por todos os tipos de mercadorias e serviços nas cidades. Assim, a atividade de logística nos centros urbanos torna-se uma atividade importante tanto para suprir as necessidades das pessoas como para fornecer insumos paras as atividades empresariais. Nesse contexto o conhecimento dos fatores operacionais que dificultam a eficiência na etapa final da logística, o chamado Last Mile ou última milha auxilia no planejamento operacional logístico visando a satisfação dos clientes e melhoria do nível de serviço das empresas de entrega. O presente trabalho está baseado em uma ampla pesquisa bibliográfica em artigos nacionais e internacionais, teses, dissertações e pesquisas de mercado. Diante disso o objetivo deste estudo consiste em levantar os principais fatores operacionais que dificultam a eficiência na etapa final do fluxo logístico, o chamado Last Mile. A revisão bibliográfica realizado na pesquisa demonstra que os fatores operacionais que dificultam a eficiência no Last Mile podem ser agrupadas em três grupos: falta de investimentos das empresas na infraestrutura logística, deficiências na infraestrutura urbana e deficiências nas condições de tráfego

The progressive growth of the urban population in recent decades has caused an increase in demand for all types of goods and services in cities. Thus, the activity of logistics in urban centers becomes an important activity both to meet the needs of people and to provide inputs for business activities. In this context, the knowledge of the operational factors that hinder efficiency in the final stage of logistics, the so-called Last Mile or Last Mile, helps in operational logistics planning aiming at customer satisfaction and improving the service level of delivery companies. Therefore, the objective of this study is to raise the main operational factors that hinder efficiency in the final stage of the logistics flow, the so-called Last Mile. The present work is based on a wide bibliographic research on national and international articles, theses, dissertations and market research. The bibliographic review carried out in the research shows that the operational factors that hinder efficiency in the Last Mile can be grouped into three groups: lack of investment by companies in logistics infrastructure, deficiencies in urban infrastructure and deficiencies in traffic conditions
