Política nacional de humanização relacionada a assistência da enfermagem ao paciente mental

Abstract

O estudo traz a importância da humanização na saúde mental. O trabalho é iniciado com o contexto histórico, contando sobre o início com Philipe Pinel, onde os pacientes eram isolados da sociedade, demonstrando a situação dos manicômios antes das Reforma Psiquiátrica e as mudanças que a Política Nacional da Humanização trouxe a esse setor da saúde. O objetivo principal do estudo foi refletir o papel da enfermagem na assistência humanizada ao paciente psiquiátrico/mental sob a ótica de estudantes de técnico de enfermagem. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, a amostra foi composta de 18 participantes e tinham tais perguntas norteadoras: 1) Você já fez ou acompanhou alguém em um tratamento de Saúde Mental? Se sim, relate brevemente sua experiência diante da equipe em relação ao tratamento; e 2) Descreva, com base nas suas experiências, quais ações da enfermagem fazem a diferença no tratamento psiquiátrico no ambiente hospitalar? Através das respostas foi possível separar o estudo em duas categorias; aqueles que tinham a percepção da importância da humanização no tratamento, devido a experiências e aqueles que consideraram que não tinham conhecimento suficiente para opinar. Concluindo que já houve grandes avanços nas ações de enfermagem humanizada, mas que há muito a se percorrer, e que a enfermagem tem grandes responsabilidades no aprimoramento de tais ações. The study highlights the importance of humanization in mental health. The work begins with the historical context, telling about the beginning with Philipe Pinel, where patients were isolated from society, demonstrating the situation of asylums before the Psychiatric Reform and the changes that the National Humanization Policy brought to this health sector. The main objective of the study was to reflect the role of nursing in humanized care for psychiatric / mental patients from the perspective of nursing technician students. It is a qualitative research, the sample was composed of 18 participants and had such guiding questions: 1) Have you ever asked or accompanied someone in a Mental Health treatment? If so, briefly report your experience to the team regarding the treatment; and 2) Describe, based on your experiences, which nursing actions make a difference in psychiatric treatment in the hospital environment? Through the answers it was possible to separate the study into two categories; those who had the perception of the importance of humanization in the treatment, due to experiences and those who considered that they did not have enough knowledge to give their opinion. Concluding that there have already been great advances in humanized nursing actions, but that there is a long way to go, and that nursing has great responsibilities in the improvement of such actions.
