The accelerated advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought profound transformations to various sectors of the economy, and advertising is no exception. This Final Paper investigates the impact of Artificial Intelligence on advertising, analyzing its applications, benefits, limitations, and ethical implications for contemporary marketing. It is a monographic research, of a bibliographic nature, grounded in the works of Delgado (2025), Oliveira (2024), Gabriel (2022), Suleyman (2023), Barreto (1982), Petit (2006), Qin and Jiang (2019), Li (2019), Rodgers (2021), Campbell et al. (2021), Ford et al. (2023), Kietzmann et al. (2020), and Huh, Nelson, and Russell (2023). The study demonstrates that AI applied to advertising — referred to as Smart Advertising — enables greater efficiency, campaign personalization, precise audience segmentation, and automation of creative processes. At the same time, it points out that human creativity remains irreplaceable as an essential element for advertising campaigns with genuine emotional impact, authenticity, and real consumer connection. It concludes that AI should be regarded as a complementary tool to human work, not as a substitute, making it fundamental to develop adequate regulation, transparency in data use, and critical awareness among marketing professionals.
