Abstract

Nos dias atuais, uma das áreas que mais tem se destacado e ganhado uma grande importância dentro das organizações, sem dúvida alguma é a Gestão dos Estoques. Percebe-se que os investimentos em itens de estoques ficam por muito tempo parados sem grande investimento de capital das empresas. Com isso essas empresas passaram a dar uma importância maior para seus estoques e enxergar que é necessário abastecer suas cadeias produtivas levando em consideração a necessidade de reduzir os recursos investidos em estoques que não giram. Este estudo foi realizado utilizando a metodologia da curva ABC e Z, como os materiais se organizam dentro do estoque de acordo com seu grau de importância e sua necessidade. Levando em consideração o estoque mínimo, estoque máximo e estoque de segurança ou tempo de ressuprimento, fundamentais a reposição e ao giro do estoque. Palavras- chave: Estoque. Gerenciamento.
