Estudo de caso: logística reversa de aparelhos celulares na cidade de Suzano-SP

Abstract

O objetivo desse artigo é identificar o cenário referente a logística reversa, mais especificamente no que se refere ao descarte de aparelhos celulares. Devido ao avanço tecnológico e o crescente consumismo, aumentou-se significativamente o volume de aparelhos celulares vendidos, gerando resíduos e produtos obsoletos a serem descartados. A logística reversa contribui em aspectos ambientais e econômicos. O método utilizado foi uma pesquisa quantitativa, de caráter exploratório e descritivo com coleta de dados e estudo realizado sobre o comportamento e conhecimento da população de Suzano / SP referente ao descarte correto de aparelhos celulares e a lei que institui a Política Nacional de Resíduos Sólidos. Observou-se que apesar da existência de uma lei que trata do assunto, ainda faltam, por parte do governo, informações e estrutura referente ao descarte correto dos consumidores

The objective of this article is to identify the scenario regarding reverse logistics, more specifically regarding the disposal of cellular devices. Due to technological advances and increasing consumerism, the volume of cellular handsets sold has been significantly increased, generating waste and obsolete products to be discarded. Reverse logistics contributes to environmental and economic aspects. The method used was a quantitative, exploratory and descriptive study with data collection and a study carried out on the behavior and knowledge of the population of Suzano / SP regarding the correct disposal of cellular devices and the law that establishes the National Solid Waste Policy. It was observed that despite the existence of a law that deals with the subject, the government still lacks information and structure regarding the correct disposal to consumers.
