Estudo sobre a vida profissional da mulher caminhoneira no brasil: perfil e dificuldades

Abstract

A discriminação de gênero ainda presente em nossa sociedade é uma situação crítica que dificulta a vida da mulher em muitos aspectos. Em razão disto, este estudo visou expor e retratar a realidade do dia a dia da vida profissional da mulher motorista de caminhão, cujo o âmbito é predominantemente masculino. Tendo em vista esse fator, o objetivo desta pesquisa foi traçar um perfil sobre a colocação da mulher num espaço socialmente masculinizado que é o de transporte de cargas, e para alcançar estes resultados foi realizada uma pesquisa do tipo survey que analisou o perfil da mulher no mercado de trabalho na função de motorista do transporte rodoviário de cargas. As informações concedidas na pesquisa amostral desenvolvida, possibilitou estabelecer um perfil da mulher caminhoneira e as dificuldades que enfrenta para atuar no segmento de transporte rodoviário de carga. Portanto, esse estudo é pertinente diante do atual cenário brasileiro de apenas 6,2 %(CNT, 2018), de mulheres registradas atuando como motoristas de caminhão. Por fim, conclui-se que a finalidade dessa pesquisa foi atingida diante dos resultados obtidos pela amostra.

Gender discrimination still present in our society is a critical situation that hampers women's lives in many ways. Therefore, this study aimed to expose and portray the daily reality of the professional life of women truck drivers, whose scope is predominantly male. In view of this factor, the objective of this research was to draw a profile on the placement of the woman in a socially masculinized space that is the transport of loads, and to reach these results a research was done of the type survey that analyzed the profile of the woman in the the role of driver of road freight transport. The information provided in the developed sample survey made it possible to establish a profile of the woman truck driver and the difficulties she faces in order to work in the cargo road transport segment. Therefore, this study is pertinent to the current Brazilian scenario of only 6.2% of registered women acting as truck drivers. Finally, it is concluded that the purpose of this research was achieved in view of the results obtained by the sample.
