This work explores the application of automation in the cultivation of beans in greenhouses. Protected cultivation in greenhouses offers a controlled environment that maximizes plant growth but has traditionally required significant human intervention. The objective of this work was to perform the Retrofit of a greenhouse, without automation, applying automated systems to control environmental variables, aiming at the healthy growth of plants such as automation of lighting, irrigation, temperature and soil moisture control and the development of an application for monitoring and control. The results showed that cultivation in controlled environments played a crucial role in the success of the experiment compared to the traditional method. Since a beanstalk can reach 1.5m to 1.8m in height, even though it is not linear, the final development of the plant compared to normal planting was notably better and faster, with approximately 32% higher growth.
