The textile processing of jeans requires a large volume of water and the process effluent is highly polluting. Due to the high cost of drinking water, the jeans industries can recycle their effluents, achieving great savings. The effluent treatment processes are directed to meet the standards required by the legislation applied or the standards of the laundry itself where they are generated. When treated, this effluent can be used in several activities with different levels of quality requirements, from floor washing to process return. In this work, alternative products of lower cost and of easy access are used, When compared to the others already used in the physical-chemical treatment. With this treatment, the effluent returns to the beginning of the process, saving up to 70% the consumption of drinking water.
