Abstract

O objetivo desse estudo foi apresentar as formas de layout e como elas podem ser benéficas às indústrias, gerando ganhos em custos, facilidade no processo produtivo e melhor adequação do espaço físico utilizado através da simplicidade na sua aplicação. Arranjo físico ou layout procurasse dispor, da melhor forma, máquinas, equipamentos e materiais participantes do processo produtivo visando à eficiência dos processos e a redução de custos. Para isso, devem ser considerados aspectos relativos à movimentação de materiais e pessoas, transporte, capacidade produtiva, estoques de matéria prima e de produto acabado, e espaço disponível. The purpose of this study was to present the layout and how they can be beneficial to the industries, generating gains in costs, ease in the productive process and better adaptation of the physical space used through the simplicity in its application. Physical arrangement or layout sought to have, in the best possible way, machines, equipment and materials participating in the production process aiming at the efficiency of the processes and the reduction of costs. For this, aspects related to the movement of materials and people, transportation, productive capacity, stocks of raw material and finished product, and available space should be considered.
