Práticas alternativas complementares em saúde (PICS)

Abstract

Neste trabalho apresentaremos o que são as PICS, sua história e evolução no Brasil, a política PNPICS, a implantação no SUS, seus desafios e seus benefícios, através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica em documentos do Ministério da Saúde, Organização Mundial de Saúde, Cartilhas, estudos acadêmicos e a pesquisa de campo quantitativa, elaborado um questionário de 8 questões: 3 dissertativas e 5 de múltipla escolha que estão sendo respondido pelos profissionais de saúde da cidade de Taquaritinga. Concluímos que temos muito caminho a ser percorrido em relação a PICS no SUS e o acesso gratuito a todos os usuários. Necessita -se capacitação dos profissionais de saúde, estimulando os a praticar as terapias, a integração do gestor das UBS ou ESF com a Prefeitura Municipal para manter os fundos necessários para a realização das mesmas, avaliando as de forma quantitativa e qualitativa. Fazendo que a PICS seja uma realidade e não uma utopia, que possamos aproveitar de todos os meios possíveis para manter o ser holístico do ser humano equilibrado.

In this work we will present what are the PICS, its history and evolution in Brazil, the PNPICS policy, the implantation in the SUS, its challenges and its benefits, through bibliographical research in documents of the Ministry of Health, World Health Organization, Booklets, academic studies and quantitative field research, a questionnaire of 8 questions was elaborated: 3 essays and 5 multiple choices, which are being answered by health professionals in the city of Taquaritinga. We conclude that we have a long way to go in relation to PICS in the SUS and free access to all users. Training of health professionals is needed, encouraging them to practice therapies, the integration of the manager of the UBS or ESF with the City Hall to maintain the necessary funds to carry them out, evaluating them in a quantitative and qualitative way. Making the PICS a reality and not a utopia, that we can take advantage of all possible means to keep the holistic being of the human being balanced.
