This project describes the development of a mobile application, named Ponto Seguro, using the React Native framework and the Expo platform. The main objective is to generate a collaborative urban security tool, allowing the citizens of São Paulo to map and consult risk areas in real-time. Through the application, users can report security incidents, classifying them by danger level (light, moderate, dangerous), and view this data on an interactive map provided by Mapbox. The architecture adopts a hybrid model, assigning identity management to Firebase Authentication, while a custom backend with Node.js and PostgreSQL/PostGIS manages the geospatial data of the incidents. This solution aims to increase the security perception of citizens, simplify access to information, and promote a more attentive and collaborative community, improving decision-making regarding routes and travel times.
