Abstract

Rede sociais federadas são redes sociais que se assemelham as redes sociais convencionais centralizadas, mas sem governo ou empresa administrando ou moderando. O trabalho tem por objetivo mostrar as vantagens das redes sociais distribuídas em relação a redes sociais centralizadas nos mais diferentes aspectos, seja em segurança, transparência e liberdade dos usuários levando em consideração os impactos que as redes sociais têm na vida da população e o quão integrada é a vida das pessoas atualmente. No decorrer serão mostrados os diferentes protocolos e topologias das redes, diferentes aspectos técnicos e será apresentado os principais pontos negativos em serviços centralizados. Levando em consideração o papel das redes sociais na vida contemporânea será apresentado a importância em se existir um ambiente sem corporações ou governos por trás, onde a interação dos usuários não os coloque como produto para a instituição que governa a plataforma e que seja livre para os usuários criarem as próprias regras. Federated social networks are social networks that resemble conventional centralized social networks, but with no government or company managing or moderating. The work aims to show the advantages of distributed social networks in relation to centralized social networks in the most different aspects, whether in security, transparency and freedom of users taking into account the impacts that social networks have on the life of the population and how integrated it's people's lives today. During the course, the different network protocols and topologies, different technical aspects will be shown and the main negative points in centralized services will be presented.
