This work presents the development of a UV light sterilizer box, designed as a practical and accessible solution for disinfecting everyday items such as cell phones, wallets, and keys, which typically accumulate many bacteria and viruses. The main objective was to create a simple, easy-to-use. The method involved assembling the electronic circuit, integrating UV-C lamps, which are known for their ability to kill microorganisms by damaging their genetic material. To test the effectiveness of the device, experiments were conducted where different objects were placed in the box, and microbiological samples were analyzed before and after the use of UV light. The results showed that the box was effective in significantly reducing the number of bacteria and other pathogens, proving that it is possible to develop a useful tool for everyday life using the knowledge acquired in the technical course. It is concluded that the UV light sterilizer box is an efficient and practical alternative for young people who seek to apply their knowledge to projects that can make a difference in real life. |
