Os impactos da pandemia no aumento do número de casos de violência infantil

Abstract

O presente estudo descreve as violações dos direitos fundamentais previstos tanto no Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente (ECA) quanto na Constituição Federal. Trata-se de um trabalho baseado em dados provenientes da base de dados do Conselho Tutelar e de pesquisas realizadas com profissionais da educação e da população em geral. De acordo com esses dados, houve um aumento significativo de registros de violência infantil no período em que o Brasil atravessou o isolamento social causado pela pandemia. O estudo evidencia que das 100 pessoas entrevistadas, 64% já vivenciaram algum tipo de violência infantil, em contrapartida apenas 15% fez a denúncia corretamente aos órgãos responsáveis. O ECA por si só não possui capacidade total de inibir o crescimento da violência que está enraizada em nosso cenário, fazendo necessário nestes casos, combinações entre as autoridades competentes e os centros de denúncias. Acerca disso, foram encontradas no município, o Centro de Referência de Assistência Social (CREAS), o Conselho Tutelar, o Conselho Municipal dos Direitos da Criança e do Adolescente (CMDCA) e o Disque 100 para as denúncias. Tais resultados podem auxiliar na prevenção e no enfrentamento das situações de violência que atingem a população infanto-juvenil.

The present study describes violations of fundamental rights provided for both in the Child and Adolescent Statute (ECA) and in the Federal Constitution. It is a work based on data from the Tutelary Council database and research carried out with education professionals and the general population. According to these data, there was a significant increase in records of child violence in the period when Brazil went through the social isolation caused by the pandemic. The study shows that of the 100 people interviewed, 64% have already experienced some type of child violence, on the other hand, only 15% correctly reported it to Organs responsible bodies. The ECA alone does not have the full capacity to inhibit the growth of violence that is rooted in our scenario, making necessary in these cases, combinations between the competent authorities and the reporting centers. About this, the Reference Center for Social Assistance (CREAS), the Tutelary Council, the Municipal Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents (CMDCA) and dial 100 for complaints were found in the municipality. Such results can help in preventing and coping with situations of violence that affect children and adolescents.
