Os direitos das mulheres no âmbito jurídico e religioso, especialmente no catolicismo

Abstract

As mulheres sempre foram inferiorizadas, principalmente por conta da má interpretação da bíblia que foi feita pela Igreja Católica durante muito tempo, na qual a mulher era considerada como derivada do homem e inferior ao homem, mesmo que seja uma visão do Antigo Testamento e que no Novo Testamento Jesus busque plena igualdade. Como consequência de tal fato, as legislações, que sempre foram feitas por homens, também prevaleciam desiguais. No entanto, hoje a Igreja Católica respeita mais os direitos das mulheres, além de ter grupos que são formados por religiosas feministas que apoiam o aborto. Sendo assim, mesmo que a sociedade já tenha evoluído muito, a existência e a aplicabilidade dos direitos das mulheres são de suma importância para que haja uma igualdade de gênero no Brasil e no mundo. Entretanto, contrapondo tal evolução, a ineficácia e a primarização de sistemas legislativos equitativos para à integração feminina exibe a persistência misógina instituída. Portanto, torna-se claro que debates aprofundados e aparatos legais ainda são necessários para a diminuição da desigualdade que assola a população feminina, que por vezes ainda permanece esquecida.

Women have always been inferior, mainly because of the misinterpretation of the bible made by the Catholic Church for a long time, in which a woman was considered to be derived from a man and also inferior a to man, even though it is an Old Testament view and that in the New Testament Jesus seeks full equality. As a consequence of this fact, legislations, which were always made by men, also prevailed unequally. However, today the Catholic Church respects women's rights more and has groups that are made up from feminist nuns who support abortion. Therefore, even if society has already evolved a lot, the existence and enforceability of women's rights are paramount importance for gender equality in Brazil and in the world. However, in contrast to this evolution, the ineffectiveness and primarization of equitable legislative systems for female integration exhibits the misogynist persistence instituted. Thus, it becomes clear that deep debates and legal apparatus are still needed to reduce the inequality that plagues the female population, which sometimes remains forgotten.
