O manejo da dor oncológica no paciente paliativo adulto hospitalizado.

Abstract

A dor é um dos sintomas que acompanham pacientes oncológicos em todas as fases da doença, sendo responsável pela piora na qualidade de vida (QV) dessas pessoas, seus familiares e amigos, quanto mais avançado o estágio da doença, maior e mais complexa será a dor. É de extrema importância que independentemente de onde este paciente se encontra em seu estágio, que a dor seja tratada com rapidez e eficiência, ajudando-o assim a seguir com seu tratamento seja ele curativo ou paliativo de forma confortável. Este trabalho irá abordar a importância do conhecimento do técnico de enfermagem no manejo da dor oncológica, como parte importante da equipe multidisciplinar e por estar mais próximo aos pacientes, o técnico de enfermagem precisa fazer uma avaliação cuidadosa da dor e a partir do direcionamento médico prestar os devidos cuidados e tratamento ao paciente, familiares e amigos presentes. Pacientes paliativos oncológicos adultos necessitam de técnica e olhar aguçado do técnico de enfermagem frente a avaliação, manejo e tratamento para a dor.Pain is one of the symptoms that accompany cancer patients in all stages of the disease, being responsible for the worsening of the quality of life (QoL) of these people, their family and friends. The more advanced the stage of the disease, the greater and more complex the pain. It is extremely important that regardless of where this patient is in their stage, that the pain is treated quickly and efficiently, thus helping them to continue with their treatment, whether curative or palliative, in a comfortable way. This work will address the importance of the nursing technician's knowledge in the management of cancer pain, as an important part of the multidisciplinary team and because they are closer to the patients, the nursing technician needs to make a careful assessment of the pain and, based on medical guidance, provide the appropriate care and treatment for the patient, family and friends present. Adult palliative oncology patients require technique and a keen eye from the nursing technician when it comes to pain assessment, management and treatment.
