Abstract

O presente trabalho por objeto de estudo da violência contra a mulher, com base na Lei 11.340/2006, apresenta a intenção de proteger e resguardar as mulheres de qualquer forma de violência existente, portanto a Lei Maria da Penha foi criada, trazendo mecanismos e ações com o objetivo de impedir a violência de gênero. Entretanto, a partir da necessidade de coibir os delitos de tal natureza, fazendo-a realmente perdurável, implantaram-se políticas públicas no combate à violência doméstica contra a mulher, as quais ampliaram e introduziram serviços especializados, bem como articularam serviços em prol das mulheres vítimas de violência. Apesar disso, esta por ser uma questão culturai e histórica, é incontestávei a urgência de extinguir a violência doméstica contra a mulher. Assim sendo, apesar o desenvolvimento após a inserção da Lei Maria da Penha, faz-se necessária ainda, a legitimação de regras que a tornassem realmente válida, para tanto, através de políticas públicas, adotaram medidas integradas objetivando à prevenção, proteção e assistência às mulheres em situação de violência e mecanismos de criminalização do agressor.
