Sistema carcerário no Brasil

Abstract

O presente trabalho tem por seu objetivo informar o funcionamento do Sistema Carcerário no Brasil, as responsabilidades do Estado sobre as penitenciarias e o cumprimento da Lei De Execução Penal. Inicialmente colocamos em pauta os objetivos do Sistema Carcerário no Brasil, as questões referentes a segurança pública, os aspectos históricos no sistema prisional juntamente com as mudanças que ocorreram ao longo dos anos, e o que é feito na administração da criminalidade. Os regimes de execução de pena foram abordados no trabalho visando esclarecer os tipos de regimes existentes de acordo com a LEP, o funcionamento de cada um e o seus objetivos principais. Diante do exposto foi informado os tipos de estabelecimentos prisionais existentes e como os mesmos funcionam, as questões estruturais, humanas, que devem ser cumpridas de acordo com a LEP, e o órgão responsável pela fiscalização em acompanhar o processo de ressocialização e egresso de cada cidadão. Para enriquecer o trabalho ressaltamos o atual cenário do Sistema Carcerário no Basil, como vivem os condenados dentro dos estabelecimentos prisionais, a importância do Estado em cumprir todas as suas obrigações de acordo com a LEP, e o quanto a sociedade está sendo afetada nos dias atuais.

This work aims to inform the functioning of the Prison System in Brazil, the responsibilities of the State on penitentiaries and compliance with the Criminal Execution Law. Initially, we put on the agenda the objectives of the Prison System in Brazil, issues related to public safety, historical aspects in the prison system along with the changes that have occurred over the years, and what is done in the management of crime. Sentence execution regimes were addressed in the work in order to clarify the types of existing regimes according to the LEP, the functioning of each one and their main objectives. In view of the above, the types of existing prisons were informed and how they work, the structural, human issues that must be fulfilled in accordance with the LEP, and the body responsible for monitoring the process of resocialization and egress of each citizen. To enrich the work, we highlightthecurrentscenario of the Prison System in Basil, how convicts live inside prisons, the importance of the State in fulfilling all its obligations according to the LEP, and how much society is being affected today.
