Os desafios para a inserção de uma unidade prisional em Itararé-SP

Abstract

As unidades prisionais estão presentes em todo o nosso país, tendo o objetivo de reintegração daqueles que se encontram encarcerados. A cidade de Itararé-SP apresentava uma unidade prisional, que atualmente se encontra desativada. O objetivo desse projeto é apresentarmos resultados dessa ação e as possibilidades para que haja a possível inserção de um novo sistema prisional no município. Sobretudo o problema dá início quando analisamos quais seriam as dificuldades para inserir uma unidade carcerária em nossa cidade, e percebemos que as causas variavam entre a falta de estrutura à falta de necessidade para uma. A metodologia utilizada foi por meio de um formulário com perguntas fechadas feito pelo Google Forms destinado a população da cidade, onde respondiam conforme mais se identificavam as respostas, com isso conseguimos enxergar a visão da sociedade a respeito do assunto. Também foi realizado uma entrevista de maneira online com uma advogada criminal expondo seu ponto de vista. Os resultados obtidos na pesquisa foram essenciais para o projeto, pois eles apresentaram a perspectiva da população sobre o assunto e com isso contribuindo para a finalização do trabalho, chegando à conclusão de que uma unidade prisional na cidade de Itararé- SP seria inviável não somente pelo razoável índice de criminalidade ou a falta de estrutura, mas também por municípios da região terem órgãos competentes para suportar a demanda de detentos direcionados para lá.

Prisons are present all over our country, with the aim of reintegrating those who are incarcerated. The city of Itararé (SP) used to have a prison unit, which is currently deactivated. The aim of this project is to present the results of this action and the possibilities for the possible insertion of a new prison system in the municipality. Above all, the problem began when we analyzed the difficulties of setting up a prison system in our city, and realized that the causes ranged from a lack of structure to a lack of need for one. The methodology used was through a form with closed questions made by Google Forms for the population of the city, where they answered according to the answers they most identified with, so we were able to see society's view on the subject. An online interview was also carried out with a criminal lawyer, giving her point of view. The results obtained in the survey were essential to the project, as they presented the population's perspective on the subject and thus contributed to the finalization of the work, coming to the conclusion that a prison unit in the city of Itarare-SP would be unfeasible not only because of the reasonable crime rate or the lack of structure, but also because municipalities in the region have competent bodies to support the demand for inmates sent there.
