A inserção de mulheres caminhoneiras na profissão de caminhoneiras: desafios e oportunidades

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo fazer um estudo sobre a inserção de mulheres na profissão de caminhoneiros, enfatizando os desafios e as oportunidades. Trata-se de pesquisa bibliográfica exploratória, de caráter qualitativo, onde revisou-se textos e artigos referente ao tema, buscou-se conhecimento sobre como as mulheres se inseriram neste mercado de trabalho, a natureza do trabalho caminhoneiro e os desafios e oportunidades para as mulheres caminhoneiras. Pode-se concluir ao final da pesquisa que as mulheres ainda sofrem vários tipos de preconceitos, mas que neste meio ainda assim conseguem enxergar uma oportunidade de ter uma remuneração melhor, um horário com mais flexibilidade e a oportunidade de se conhecer novos lugares. É necessário que políticas públicas sejam estabelecidas para garantir a viabilidade da mulher na referida profissão e que meios de conscientização sejam amplamente divulgados.

This work aims to study the inclusion of women in the truck driving profession, emphasizing the challenges and opportunities. It is exploratory bibliographic research, of a qualitative nature, where texts and articles related to the theme were reviewed, seeking knowledge on how women entered this job market, the nature of the truck driver's work, and the challenges and opportunities for female truck drivers. At the end of the research, it can be concluded that women still face various types of prejudice, but they can still see an opportunity to have better pay, a more flexible schedule, and the opportunity to discover new places in this field. It is necessary that public policies be established to ensure the viability of women in this profession, and that awareness-raising initiatives be widely disseminated.
