Elaboração de mural educativo nutricional em ambiente escolar

Abstract

O presente Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso tem como objetivo desenvolver um mural educativo nutricional em ambiente escolar como estratégia para combater a desinformação sobre alimentação e fortalecer a educação nutricional entre os estudantes da ETEC Trajano Camargo, em Limeira-SP. A iniciativa surge diante do crescente alcance de fake news nas redes sociais, que influenciam negativamente os hábitos alimentares dos adolescentes. O mural busca aproximar o conhecimento científico do cotidiano escolar, estimular o pensamento crítico e promover escolhas alimentares mais conscientes, alinhando-se ao Objetivo de Desenvolvimento Sustentável 4 (ODS 4), que trata da educação inclusiva e de qualidade. Para sua elaboração, foram realizadas pesquisa bibliográfica, aplicação de questionários diagnósticos, produção de materiais educativos baseados em evidências e montagem do mural em local estratégico da escola. Embora não tenha sido possível coletar os resultados do impacto direto do mural, espera-se que a ação contribua para reduzir a disseminação de informações falsas, fortalecer o senso crítico dos estudantes e incentivar hábitos alimentares saudáveis, servindo como referência para futuras práticas educativas.

This Final Course Project aims to develop na educational nutritional mural within the school environment as a strategy to counteract misinformation about food and to strengthen nutritional education among students at ETEC Trajano Camargo, in Limeira-SP, Brazil. The initiative emerges in response to the increasing spread of fake news on social media, which negatively affects adolescents’ eating habits. The mural seeks to bring scientific knowledge into students’ daily lives, stimulate critical thinking, and encourage more conscious food choices, in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4), which promotes inclusive and quality education. The project involved a literature review, the application of diagnostic questionnaires, the development of evidence-based educational materials, and the installation of the mural in a strategic area of the school. Although the direct impact of the mural could not be evaluated within the timeframe of this study, the initiative is expected to help reduce the spread of misinformation, strengthen students’ critical awareness, and promote healthier eating habits, serving as a model for future educational and healthpromotion actions.
