Dificuldades e o custo benefício da implantação de um software: estudo de caso no colégio IV Centenário

Abstract

Vivemos em meio a constantes transformações onde não há mais espaço para a estagnação. Neste sentido, as organizações tem procurado investir em tecnologias da informação, seja um ERP (Enterprise Resourse Planning) mais utilizados por grandes empresas ou um software que em geral são adquiridos por pequenas empresas. Cada empresa deve analisar suas necessidades e seus recursos financeiros, a fim de encontrar a solução que se adeque a sua realidade. O estudo de caso realizado em um colégio evidencia essa tendência, após o mesmo iniciar uma parceria com um sistema de ensino muito conhecido, obteve como resultado um crescimento repentino, surgindo assim a necessidade de reestruturação em várias partes da empresa: na área organizacional, nas instalações físicas, em relação ao quadro de funcionários e principalmente na área administrativa a qual passou a ter um comprometimento muito maior. Para atender essa nova realidade o colégio optou pela aquisição e implantação de um software de administração escolar com a intenção de solucionar os problemas na área organizacional, tanto da parte administrativa como exemplo a organização dos dados pertinentes aos alunos, quanto na área financeira responsável pelo gerenciamento das contas. Procurou-se evidenciar neste trabalho qual o custo benefício em relação ao software adquirido, e também quais os fatores que implicam no resultado final entre software – usuário, visando encontrar um meio em que o mesmo atenda as necessidades mais do que o simplesmente esperado, ou seja, em sua totalidade. We live in the midst of constant changes where there is no more room for stagnation. There is only the need for growth, but there is also the issue of having the ability to stay in such a competitive market. This new reality has forced not only companies, but also professionals to stay current with this innovative market. To do so, has investing in information technology, being an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) most used by large companies or software that generally are purchased by small businesses. Each company should analyze their own needs and financial resources in order to find the solution that fits your own reality. The case study conducted in a college highlights this trend, even after starting a partnership with a well-known education system, obtained as result of a sudden growth, arising this way the need for restructuring several parts: organizational, physical facilities, in relation to the staff and mainly in the administrative area which has a much greater commitment. To meet this new reality the college opted for acquisition and implementation of a school management software intending to solve organizational problems in the area, both as an example of the administrative organization of the data relevant to the students and as the area responsible for financial management accounts. We tried to show in this paper the cost benefit compared to purchased software, and also which factors imply the end result between software-user, aiming to find a way in which it meets the needs more than expected, or is, in its entirety.
