A bolsa de valores na sociedade brasileira atual

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a importância da Bolsa de Valores na sociedade brasileira contemporânea, destacando seu papel no desenvolvimento econômico, na democratização dos investimentos e na promoção da educação financeira. A pesquisa apresenta o funcionamento da Bolsa de Valores, sua evolução histórica e os principais impactos gerados pelo aumento da participação de investidores pessoa física no mercado de capitais. A partir de uma abordagem exploratória, com delineamento bibliográfico e análise qualitativa e quantitativa, o estudo utiliza dados de fontes oficiais como a B3, CVM, IBGE e Banco Central, além de obras acadêmicas relevantes. Entre os principais desafios identificados, estão a volatilidade provocada por fatores políticos e econômicos, e a necessidade de ampliar o acesso da população ao mercado financeiro. O trabalho também destaca as perspectivas positivas impulsionadas pela transformação digital, como a adoção de tecnologias emergentes, a exemplo do blockchain e da tokenização de ativos, que tornam o mercado mais seguro, acessível e eficiente. A pesquisa conclui que a Bolsa de Valores exerce papel estratégico na economia ao promover a circulação de capital, fomentar o crescimento de empresas e contribuir para a inclusão financeira da população brasileira. Ao mesmo tempo, evidencia-se a necessidade de políticas públicas voltadas à educação financeira e à redução das barreiras de entrada no mercado. O estudo contribui para uma reflexão crítica sobre o papel da Bolsa no cenário nacional e suas perspectivas futuras.

This study aims to analyze the importance of the Stock Exchange in contemporary Brazilian society, highlighting its role in economic development, the democratization of investments, and the promotion of financial education. The research presents the functioning of the Stock Exchange, its historical evolution, and the main impacts generated by the increased participation of individual investors in the capital market. Using an exploratory approach, with a bibliographic design and qualitative and quantitative analysis, the study utilizes data from official sources such as B3, CVM, IBGE, and the Central Bank, in addition to relevant academic works. Among the main challenges identified are the volatility caused by political and economic factors and the need to expand the population's access to the financial market. The study also highlights positive perspectives driven by digital transformation, such as the adoption of emerging technologies, including blockchain and asset tokenization, which make the market safer, more accessible, and more efficient. The research concludes that the Stock Exchange plays a strategic role in the economy by promoting capital circulation, fostering business growth, and contributing to the financial inclusion of the Brazilian population. At the same time, the need for public policies focused on financial education and the reduction of market entry barriers is evident. The study contributes to a critical reflection on the role of the Stock Exchange in the national context and its future prospects.
