Mães empreendedoras em home office

Abstract

O empreendedorismo feminino no Brasil consolida se como um fenômeno de resiliência e força, impulsionado pela busca por flexibilidade e autonomia, especialmente por mães. Paralelamente, a ascensão do teletrabalho ou home office oferece uma aparente conciliação, mas frequentemente se traduz em uma sobrecarga invisível para as mulheres, devido à acumulação das demandas profissionais e das responsabilidades domésticas e de cuidado com os filhos. A problemática central reside na dificuldade de estabelecer limites claros entre vida profissional e pessoal, resultando em sobrecarga e esgotamento. O objetivo deste Trabalho de Graduação foi responder à questão norteadora: Quais são os principais desafios e estratégias de gestão do tempo enfrentados por mães empreendedoras que trabalham em home office, considerando as particularidades do empreendedorismo feminino brasileiro contemporâneo? A pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa e exploratória, utilizando entrevistas semiestruturadas com cinco mães empreendedoras que atuam em regime de home office. A fundamentação teórica aborda a trajetória do empreendedorismo no Brasil, as características do empreendedor, o empreendedorismo feminino, suas motivações e desafios de conciliação, além de discutir a falsa promessa de flexibilidade do teletrabalho e o direito à desconexão. Os resultados e a discussão, que constituem o cerne do trabalho, serão organizados em categorias de análise (como rotina e organização, ferramentas digitais, apoio familiar e estratégias de superação), por meio da análise dos relatos das entrevistadas em relação à teoria.

Female entrepreneurship in Brazil has consolidated itself as a phenomenon of resilience and strength, driven by the pursuit of flexibility and autonomy, particularly among mothers. In parallel, the rise of telework or home office appears to offer a path to conciliation, but frequently translates into an invisible overload for women due to the accumulation of professional demands and domestic and childcare responsibilities. The central issue lies in the difficulty of establishing clear boundaries between professional and personal life, resulting in overload and exhaustion. The objective of this Graduation Project was to answer the guiding question: What are the main challenges and time management strategies faced by entrepreneurial mothers working in a home office system, considering the particularities of contemporary Brazilian female entrepreneurship? The research is qualitative and exploratory in nature, employing semi structured interviews with five entrepreneurial mothers working under a home office regime. The theoretical framework addresses the development of entrepreneurship in Brazil, the characteristics of the entrepreneur, female entrepreneurship, its motivations and challenges of conciliation, as well as discussing the false promise of telework flexibility and the right to disconnect. The results and discussion, which constitute the core of the study, will be organized into analytical categories (such as routine and organization, digital tools, family support, and coping strategies), based on the analysis of the participants’ narratives in dialogue with the theoretical foundations.
