Carnaval jundiaense: um levantamento histórico

Abstract

O presente estudo tem como objetivo apresentar um levantamento histórico do carnaval da cidade de Jundiaí, relatando seu início e sua trajetória até os dias atuais. Justifica-se o tema abordado após a constatação da escassez de matérias que dão acesso ao conhecimento do mesmo. O embasamento do estudo apresentado deu-se através de levantamento bibliográfico, visitas técnicas às escolas de samba, grupos e clubes que foram e são integrantes da história do carnaval jundiaiense. Com bases nos resultados obtidos por meio de pesquisas junto a uma amostra da população da região de Jundiaí-SP, pode-se observar que os carnavais de salão vêm perdendo a preferência, para os carnavais de rua apresentados pelos blocos carnavalescos. E junto essa crescente referência vêm às preocupações com impactos ambientais gerados por essa modalidade.

This present project aims to tell the history of Jundiai‟s Carnival through its historical survey in order to present the history of Jundiai´s Carnival, since its beginning, origins, going through the carnivals of street, street, emergence of Samba Schools until nowadays. The justification of the choice of the approached theme was due to the scarcity of materials on the raised theme, for its enrichment. With a bibliographic survey and visits to schools, groups and clubs that were and are part of this history and interviews with their great carnival artists to be able to rescue their origins and cultures. Based on the results obtained through research with a sample of the population of the region of Jundiaí-SP, it can be observed that the carnivals of the salon have been losing preference, for the street carnivals presented by the carnival blocks. Along with this growing reference come concerns about environmental impacts generated by this modality
