Tríplice mistura de biodiesel: desempenho de trator em função da proporção com diesel interior e metropolitano BS 50

Abstract

Considerando-se o petróleo um recurso natural não renovável, o biodiesel apresenta-se como uma alternativa de combustível, sendo o mesmo renovável, biodegradável e produzido a partir de óleo vegetal e gordura animal transestereficado e com álcool anidro na presença de um catalisador. O presente trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar o desempenho de um trator agrícola funcionando com tríplice mistura de biodiesel (soja 40%, dendê 40% e óleo residual 20%), cuja variação foi o tipo de diesel e a proporção de mistura biodiesel/diesel. O experimento foi conduzido no Departamento de Engenharia da UNESP- JABOTICABAL em parceria com o LADETEL/USP- Ribeirão Preto. No presente estudo, utilizou-se um trator VALTRA BM 125i 4x2 TDA de 92 kW (125 cv) no motor a 2.300 rpm. O delineamento experimental foi inteiramente casualizado, em esquema fatorial 7x2, com três repetições. O primeiro fator representa sete proporções percentuais de biodiesel + diesel [B0 (0+100), B5 (5+95), B15 (15+85), B25 (25+75), B50 (50+50), B75 (75+25) e B100 (0+100)], e o segundo fator representa dois tipos de diesel (interior/BS1.800 e metropolitano/BS50). Os resultados evidenciaram que os fatores tipo de diesel e proporções de mistura não influenciaram no desempenho do trator.

Considering the petroleum is a non-renewable natural resource, the biodiesel is an alternative fuel, being the same renewable, biodegradable and made from vegetable oil and animal fat transestereficated and anhydrous alcohol in the presence of a catalyst. The purpose of this work was to evaluate the performance of an agricultural tractor working with triple biodiesel blend (soybean 40 %, palm 40% and residual oil 20% ), whose variation was the type of diesel and the mixture ratio biodiesel/diesel. The experiment was conducted at the Department of Engineering of São Paulo State University - Jaboticabal in partnership with the LADETEL/USP- Ribeirão Preto. In the present study, we used a tractor VALTRA BM 125i 4x2 TDA of 92 kW (125 hp) engine to 2,300 rpm. The experimental design was a factorial 7x2, with three repetitions. The first factor represents seven proportions percentages of biodiesel + diesel [B0 (0 +100), B5 (5 +95), B15 (15 +85), B25 (25 +75), B50 (50 +50), B75 (75 +25) and B100 (0 +100)], and the second factor is two types of diesel (interior/BS1.800 and metropolitan/BS50). The results showed that the factors type of diesel and blend ratios did not influence the performance of the tractor.
