Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a atuação do Técnico em Segurança do Trabalho e sua importância na promoção de ambientes laborais seguros e saudáveis. A segurança do trabalho é essencial para prevenir acidentes e doenças ocupacionais, proteger a saúde dos trabalhadores e garantir a continuidade produtiva das empresas. A pesquisa destaca que o Técnico em Segurança do Trabalho desempenha um papel fundamental na identificação de riscos, implementação de normas regulamentadoras e capacitação dos colaboradores. Além disso, o estudo evidencia os benefícios da segurança para trabalhadores, empresas, famílias, sociedade e meio ambiente. Com base em dados da Organização Internacional do Trabalho e do Ministério do Trabalho, o trabalho reforça a relevância da prevenção e a necessidade de investimentos em programas de segurança. Conclui-se que a valorização e o fortalecimento da função do Técnico em Segurança do Trabalho são essenciais para o desenvolvimento sustentável das organizações e a preservação da vida.

This work aims to analyze the role of the Occupational Safety Technician and its importance in promoting safe and healthy work environments. Occupational safety is essential to prevent accidents and occupational diseases, protect workers' health, and ensure the productive continuity of companies. The research highlights that the Occupational Safety Technician plays a fundamental role in risk identification, implementation of regulatory standards, and employee training. Furthermore, the study shows the benefits of safety for workers, companies, families, society, and the environment. Based on data from the International Labour Organization and the Ministry of Labor, the work reinforces the relevance of prevention and the need for investment in safety programs. It concludes that valuing and strengthening the role of the Occupational Safety Technician are essential for the sustainable development of organizations and the preservation of life.
