Desafios da reabilitação e retorno ao trabalho pós-acidente de trabalho

Abstract

Este trabalho analisa os desafios enfrentados no processo de reabilitação e retorno ao trabalho após acidentes laborais, considerando os impactos físicos, emocionais e sociais sobre os trabalhadores. Embora a reabilitação profissional seja essencial para a reintegração, diversos obstáculos dificultam sua efetividade, como a falta de políticas estruturadas nas empresas, o preconceito contra trabalhadores reabilitados, a ausência de suporte psicológico e a ineficiência na comunicação entre INSS, serviços de saúde e empregadores. Dados recentes indicam que a maioria dos trabalhadores reabilitados não consegue se manter no emprego, revelando fragilidades institucionais e organizacionais. O estudo propõe a adoção de estratégias mais humanizadas, integradas e inclusivas, com base em políticas públicas eficazes e no compromisso ético das organizações com a saúde ocupacional.

This study analyzes the challenges involved in the process of professional rehabilitation and return to work after occupational accidents, considering the physical, emotional, and social impacts on workers. Although vocational rehabilitation is essential for reintegration, various obstacles hinder its effectiveness, such as the lack of structured policies in companies, prejudice against rehabilitated workers, absence of psychological support, and inefficient communication between the National Social Security Institute (INSS), healthcare services, and employers. Recent data show that most rehabilitated workers do not remain in their jobs, revealing institutional and organizational weaknesses. The study proposes the adoption of more humanized, integrated, and inclusive strategies, based on effective public policies and the ethical commitment of organizations to occupational health.
