Deficiência visual e turismo: possibilidades, e acessibilidade do turismo sensorial em vinícolas de São Roque.

Abstract

O texto inicia-se na conceituação de turismo, acessibilidade, inclusão e deficiência. Com isso, depara-se com um numero grande e variável de definições e interpretações. O estudo tem como intuito averiguar a importância do turismo receptivo na Estância Turística de São Roque, para pessoas com deficiência visual e de baixa visão. Nesse sentido buscou-se explorar os aspectos de acessibilidade de algumas vinícolas da cidade, políticas e ações do poder público que favorecessem o turismo acessível, e ainda, o desenvolvimento de práticas do turismo sensorial. Turismo este onde se estimula todos os sentidos, não somente a visão, de forma a enriquecer a percepção sensorial dos atrativos visitados, cumprido assim um dos objetivos do turismo, proporcionar o bem estar entre as pessoas que o praticam. Nessas perspectivas, o presente trabalho, de caráter qualitativo, utilizou-se da técnica de pesquisa exploratória, considerando entrevistas com órgãos públicos, instituições e pessoas com deficiência visual e baixa visão. No que se refere às técnicas empregadas, elaborou-se a pesquisa em duas etapas. No primeiro momento, executaram-se consultas bibliográficas, buscando apoio em material publicado em artigo, Internet, livros e demais publicações que deram fundamento à parte teórica do estudo. No segundo momento, ocorreu pesquisa exploratória em forma de questionário com perguntas semiestruturadas, e entrevista aberta não estruturada, na qual foi direcionada a instituição de referência sobre o assunto, as vinícolas, a Associação de Deficientes Visuais e ao departamento de turismo da prefeitura da Estância Turística de São Roque. Dessa forma, verificou-se além de tudo, a importância do direito ao lazer e ao turismo para a qualidade de vida e bem estar social de pessoas com deficiência visual.

The text begins in the conceptualization of tourism, accessibility, inclusion and disability. With this, there are a large and variable number of definitions and interpretations. The study aims to ascertain the importance of receptive tourism in the tourist resort of São Roque, for visually impaired people and low vision. In this sense, we sought to explore the accessibility aspects of some of the city's wineries, policies and actions of the public authorities that favored tourism accessible, and also the development of practices of sensory tourism. This tourism where it stimulates all the senses, not only the vision, in order to enrich the sensory perception of the attractions visited, so fulfilled one of the objectives of tourism, to provide the wellbeing among the people who practice it. In these perspectives, the present work, of qualitative character, used the technique of exploratory research, considering interviews with public bodies, institutions and people with visually impaired and low vision. With regard to the techniques employed, the research was developed in two stages. In the first moment, bibliographical consultations were carried out, seeking support in material published in article, Internet, books and other publications that gave ground to the theoretical part of the study. In the second moment, exploratory research was carried out in the form of a questionnaire, with semi-structured question, and an unstructured open interview, in which the reference institution was, directed on the subject, the wineries, the Association of visually Impaired and the Tourism Department of the city of São Roque tourist resort. In this way, the importance of the right to leisure and tourism for the quality of life and social welfare of visually impaired people was found.
