Reestruturação das instalações da ovinocultura da Etec Jales com vista a sanidade e o bem-estar animal

Abstract

O trabalho foi realizado na ovinocultura da ETEC Jales, e a partir do objetivo geral que era aumentar a qualidade de vida dos animais, atendendo ás necessidades de sanidade e bem-estar; conseguimos atingir aos objetivos específicos que eram levantar as necessidades da reforma, manejar os animas visando o bem-estar e confeccionar o desenho técnico de reestruturação do prédio. Diante disso os autores realizaram uma vistoria no prédio e nas práticas realizadas com os animais, elaborando assim um levantamento das irregularidades, permitindo a aplicação de métodos de reestruturação. Elaboramos um conjunto de práticas com os animais, para que os mesmos obtivessem maior produtividade e qualidade de vida. As instalações rurais foram reestruturadas a partir das necessidades, e usando os materiais fornecidos pela Instituição de Ensino. Os métodos utilizados pelos autores estavam todos condizentes com as 5 Liberdades Animal, permitindo que os autores elaborassem atitudes éticas para serem aplicadas. A fim de conquistar maiores resultados, é de suma importância que as instalações e os manejos realizados estejam em harmonia, ou seja, a qualidade de vida dos animais sempre devem ser a maior prioridade em questão.

The paper was carried out at the ETEC Jales sheep farm with the general objective of increasing the animals' quality of life, meeting their health and well-being needs. The specific objectives were achieved, where the needs for renovation were identified, managing animals with a view to well-being and creating the technical design for restructuring the building. Therefore, the authors carried out an inspection of the building and the practices carried out with the animals, thus preparing a survey of irregularities, allowing the application of restructuring methods. We developed a set of practices with animals, so that they achieved greater productivity and quality of life. Rural facilities were restructured based on needs, and using materials provided by the Educational Institution. The methods used by the authors were all consistent with the 5 Animal Freedoms, allowing the authors to develop ethical attitudes to be applied. In order to achieve greater results, it is extremely important that the facilities and management carried out are in harmony, that is, the quality of life of the animals must always be the highest priority in question.
