Casos de dermatofitose em crianças: tinea capitis e tinea corporis

Abstract

Este trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar o aumento dos casos de dermatofitose em crianças, além de analisar como essa infecção fúngica, causada por dermatófitos, ainda é pouco conhecida pela população. Buscou-se trazer informações sobre a infecção fúngica, incluindo conceitos, sintomas, diagnóstico e tratamento. A pesquisa foi realizada em ambiente escolar, por meio da plataforma Google Forms, com aplicação de questionários com perguntas abertas e fechadas sobre o tema. O público-alvo respondeu de acordo com seus conhecimentos prévios. Durante o projeto, foram levantadas informações sobre os fungos que mais acometem crianças e as regiões com maior prevalência. Os resultados indicaram que os fungos responsáveis são Tinea capitis e Tinea Corporis e apresentam as maiores taxas de transmissão, sendo mais comuns em crianças principalmente em regiões tropicais e subtropicais. O objetivo final deste trabalho é divulgar conhecimentos gerais sobre essa doença fúngica e destacar sua incidência em diferentes regiões do território brasileiro. This project aims to present the increase in cases of dermatophytosis in children, in addition to analyzing how this fungal infection, caused by dermatophytes, is still little known by the population. The aim was to provide information about the fungal infection, including concepts, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment. The research was conducted in a school environment, using the Google Forms platform, with questionnaires with open and closed questions on the subject. The target audience responded according to their previous knowledge. During the project, information was collected about the fungi that most affect children and the regions with the highest prevalence. The results indicated that the fungi responsible are Tinea capitis and Tinea corporis and have the highest transmission rates, being more common in children, especially in tropical and subtropical regions. The ultimate goal of this work is to disseminate general knowledge about this fungal disease and highlight its incidence in different regions of Brazil.
