Uso seguro da internet por crianças e adolescentes

Abstract

Este trabalho constitui-se de duas etapas com dois objetivos. Analisar a evolução do uso da internet por crianças e adolescentes e as vulnerabilidades a que estão sujeitos estes usuários, e o segundo foi levantar como pais e responsáveis por crianças e adolescentes controlam o uso da internet por eles. A primeira etapa se deu através do estudo do referencial teórico utilizado, a partir do qual foi apresentada a história do surgimento da internet seguida da sua evolução até os dias atuais. Foram apresentados exemplos de ocorrências e estatísticas sobre o número de menores que utilizam a rede, e sobre ocorrências de violação de privacidade e assédio, além de formas e ferramentas existentes para que este tipo de problema seja evitado. O objetivo desta etapa consistiu em alertar e conscientizar os pais e responsáveis, mostrando que existem muitos riscos e perigos para as crianças e adolescentes que utilizam a internet sem supervisão e controle. A segunda etapa foi composta pela pesquisa de campo qualitativa e descritiva, onde através de um questionário, coletou-se dados com pais de crianças e adolescentes com idades entre 7 e 17 anos que estudam em duas escolas da cidade de Franca/SP, uma municipal e outra estadual. Os dados analisados possibilitaram constatar que grande parte dos sujeitos da pesquisa possuem dúvidas sobre o assunto tratado. Muitos não exercem nenhum controle sobre o uso da referida ferramenta por seus filhos, devido a falta de conhecimento sobre como fazer. Com isso, concluiu-se que o objetivo da pesquisa foi alcançado, tendo sido identificados a carência de informações e o desejo da maioria dos pais que participaram da pesquisa, de querer saber mais sobre os riscos e perigos, bem como aprender a controlar e monitorar o uso da internet por seus filhos.

There are two stages in this work with two goals. To analyze the evolution of internet use by children and adolescents and the vulnerabilities they are subject to in this environment, and the second was to raise as parents and guardians of children and adolescents control the use of the internet by them. The first stage was made through the theoretical framework of the study used. From which it was presented the story of the rise of the internet then its evolution to the present day. Examples of events and statistics were presented on the number of minors who use the network, and on instances of violation of privacy and harassment, as well as forms and existing tools for this type of problem are avoided. The goals of these stages consist in alert and awareness the parents and responsible, showing that there are many risks and dangers to children and adolescents who use the Internet without supervision and control. The second stages was compose by research qualitative and descriptive field, where through a questionnaire, collected up data with parents of children and adolescents aged between 7 to 17 years studying in two schools in the city of Franca / SP, a municipal and other state. The analyzed data made it possible to note that a big part the research subjects have doubts about the subject. A big part doesn’t exert any control about the use of that tool for their children, due to lack of knowledge about how to do. Concludes that the research’s goals was achieved, It was identified the lack of information and the desire of most parents surveyed, wanting to know more about the risks and dangers as well as learn to control and monitor Internet use by their children.
