Defeito de segregação durante a laminação do aço SAE 1045

Abstract

O objetivo deste trabalho é examinar o defeito de segregação que ocorreu durante a laminação do aço SAE 1045. O defeito de segregação vem do processo de lingotamento contínuo, esse defeito pode ocorrer em várias partes do lingote. Para a análise da amostra foi utilizado ensaio de dureza, análise macrográfica, análise microscópica e análise de espectrometria. Através da macrografia observou- se que o defeito de segregação estudado foi uma segregação central em forma de uma linha que cresceu no sentido longitudinal do lingote. A análise microscópica apresentou a microestrutura do aço que se altera na região central onde se tem a segregação. A espectrometria mostrou que há uma diferença na composição química do aço na região da linha de segregação. A dureza na linha de segregação é maior que no metal de base. Essa linha de segregação muda as propriedades mecânicas do aço, prejudicando sua utilização. Esse tipo de defeito pode fazer trincar o material durante processamentos mecânicos e processamentos térmicos. A segregação geralmente ocorre em materiais com espessura grandes e através de erros durante o processo de lingotamento.

The objective of this paper is to examine the defect segregation that occurred during lamination steel SAE 1045. The defect segregation comes from the continuous casting process, this defect can occur in various parts of the block. For the analysis of the sample was used for hardness testing, macrographical analysis, microscopic analysis and spectrometric analysis. By macrograph showed that the defect was studied segregation central segregation in the form of a line which grew in the longitudinal direction of the billet. Microscopic analysis showed the microstructure of the steel which changes in the central region where there is segregation. Spectrometry showed that there is a difference in the chemical composition of the steel in the region of line segregation. The hardness line segregation is greater than the base metal. This line of separation changes the mechanical properties of steel, impairing its use. This type of defect can crack the material during processing, mechanical and thermal processing. Segregation usually occurs in materials with large thickness and by errors during the casting process.
