Restauração do torno convencional da Faculdade de Tecnologia de Pindamonhangaba.

Abstract

Na Faculdade de Tecnologia de Pindamonhangaba, um Torno Mecânico de Bancada, da marca Sanches Blanes, do modelo C (o mais completo da categoria), encontrava-se fora de uso no Laboratório de Serviços Gerais (apropriado para serviços de usinagem). Como atualmente um Torno desse modelo, fabricado na década de 1950, é comumente encontrado apenas com colecionadores ou admiradores, surgiu à intuição de restaurá-lo. Para a restauração, a máquina foi desmontada em todas as suas partes. As peças foram limpas e restauradas e os componentes defeituosos foram substituídos. Após a pintura, a máquina foi montada e não houve teste de funcionamento por faltar o motor elétrica. O resultado obtido, após a restauração, foi considerado excelente porque os objetivos foram alcançados. O torno foi totalmente restaurado e a experiência obtida diante desse desafio foi muito gratificante. O equipamento poderá ser utilizado, no futuro, para desenvolvimento de aulas e experiências.

In the Technology College of Pindamonhangaba, a Bench Lathe, of the mark Sanches Blanes, of the model C (the most complete of the category), was out of use in the General Services Laboratory (suitable for machining services). As currently a lathe of this model, manufactured in the 1950s, is commonly found only with collectors or admirers, it came to the intuition of restoring it. For the restoration, the machine has been disassembled in all its parts. Parts have been cleaned and restored and defective components have been replaced. After painting, the machine was assembled and there was no operation test due to missing the electric motor. The result obtained after the restoration was considered excellent because the objectives were achieved. The lathe was totally restored and the experience gained from this challenge was very gratifying. The equipment can be used in the future for the development of lessons and experiences.
