Evolução das exportações brasileiras: analisando o segmento da soja

Abstract

Este trabalho de graduação tem como objetivo apresentar a evolução das exportações brasileiras desde o início do século XIX até a atualidade, a fim de analisar o setor da soja e sua importância econômica no comércio exterior do Brasil. A metodologia adotada foi a revisão bibliográfica com consulta a fontes oficiais de dados, como o Ministério do Desenvolvimento, Indústria e Comércio Exterior (MDIC), a Companhia Nacional de Abastecimento (CONAB) e a Empresa Brasileira de Pesquisa Agropecuária (EMBRAPA), entre outros, além de fontes secundárias, como livros e artigos. Notou-se por meio da pesquisa que o setor agrícola tem relevância nas exportações brasileiras desde o ciclo do café, sendo responsável por quase 50% do total de exportações em 2018. Hoje, o Brasil é o segundo maior produtor de soja do mundo e o maior exportador, sendo que a soja passou a ocupar a primeira posição na pauta de exportações nos últimos anos, correspondendo a cerca de 14% das exportações totais do Brasil em 2018. Esses números mostram a importância desse grão para a economia brasileira e contribuem para promover o crescimento econômico do país.

This graduation work has as objective presents the evolution of the Brazilian exports from the beginning of the century XIX up to the present, in order to analyse the sector of the soy and his economical importance in the exterior commerce of Brazil. The adopted methodology went to bibliographical revision with consultation to official fountains of data, like the Ministry of the Development, Industry and Exterior Commerce (MDIC), the National Company of Supply (CONAB) and the Brazilian Enterprise of Farming Inquiry (EMBRAPA), between others, besides secondary fountains, like books and articles. It noticed through the inquiry that the agricultural sector has relevance in the Brazilian exports from the cycle of the coffee, being responsible for almost 50 % of the total of exports in 2018. Today, Brazil is the best producing second of soy of the world and the biggest exporter, being that the soy started to occupy the first position in the exports list in the last years, corresponding her nearly 14 % of the total exports of Brazil in 2018. These numbers show the importance of this grain for the Brazilian economy and contribute to promote the economical growth of the country.
