Fluxo de caixa - a importância do controle financeiro para o microempreendedor individual

Abstract

O mercado globalizado e a alta competitividade empresarial perfaz uma atenção aos controles financeiros. Ao realizar este artigo, buscou-se analisar a importância do controle financeiro, com foco no fluxo de caixa, para a sustentabilidade financeira do Microempreendedor Individual (MEI). O estudo iniciou-se com uma introdução sobre a relevância do gerenciamento financeiro na prevenção de falências, destacando que a formalização do MEI visa reduzir a informalidade e proporcionar benefícios legais. O objetivo principal do estudo é investigar como o fluxo de caixa influencia a gestão financeira e a competitividade das empresas. A metodologia adotada é a qualitativa, buscando compreender as práticas de microempreendedores. Os resultados revelam que empresas que implementam um controle rigoroso do fluxo de caixa conseguem se adaptar mais eficazmente às mudanças do mercado, resultando em uma competitividade aprimorada. Com isso, as considerações apontam que, embora a escrituração contábil não seja obrigatória para o MEI, a adoção de práticas de controle financeiro é essencial para a saúde financeira e o crescimento sustentável dos negócios, sugerindo que a capacitação em planejamento e no controle financeiro é tundamental para o sucesso no ambiente empresarial.

The globalized market and the high level of business competitiveness mean that attention must be paid to financial controls. This article sought to analyze the importance of financial control, with a focus on cash flow, for the financial sustainability of the Individual Microentrepreneur (MEI). The study began with an introduction to the importance of financial management in preventing bankruptcies, highlighting that the formalization of the MEI aims to reduce informality and provide legal benefits. The main objective of the study is to investigate how cash flow influences the financial management and competitiveness of companies. The methodology adopted is qualitative, seeking to understand the practices of micro-entrepreneurs. The results show that companies that implement strict cash flow control are able to adapt more effectively to market changes, resulting in improved competitiveness. As a result, the findings show that, although bookkeeping is not compulsory for MEIs, the adoption of financial control practices is essential for the financial health and sustainable growth of businesses, suggesting that training in financial planning and control is fundamental for success in the business environment.
